Purpose of the Job

Ensure that delivery trip sheets, POD and drivers are debriefed according to Value Procedure. Reporting of driver incidents/accidents to Branch/Operations Manager. Reporting of vehicle damages to the Manager.

Roles & Responsibility

Operational

• Debriefing of drivers
• Checking trip sheet against tracking for unscheduled stops
• Receiving of vehicle keys
• Checking PODs for any discrepancies (failed deliveries)
• Planning of next-day deliveries

Administration

• Preparation of the next day’s delivery paperwork

Customer Service

• Ensure that the customer is well informed of all deliveries taking place/being planned

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Computer literate (MS Word, excel, outlook, etc.)
• Must possess sound local geographical knowledge
• Good written and oral communication skills

Skilled Needed

• Good communication skills
• Able to complete forms related to own working area
• Can complete administrative procedures with necessary directions and systems at disposal
