National Key Accounts Manager

Purpose of the Job

The primary purpose of this job is to cultivate and enhance relationships with Key Account clients across various levels, ensuring that service delivery meets the agreed-upon terms and service levels. The role involves overseeing the daily management of the account while proactively identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities within existing Key Account business to drive growth and strengthen partnerships.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Develop, strengthen, and manage client relationships at all levels
  • Manage the client’s expectations and ensure a good knowledge of the contract details
  • Meet regularly to discuss and clarify issues and any change requests
  • Document (minute) meetings with client
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate client functions and presentations
  • Apply the most cost-efficient solutions at all times to benefit both the client and VMH
  • Monitor the client payments and assist if needed
  • Ensure service delivery within agreed terms and service levels; manage the day-to-day running of the account
  • Maintain a good working relationship with internal staff in order to provide a seamless service to clients
  • Resolve all queries/issues relating to the maintenance and management of the account
  • Meet with relevant parties where necessary and discuss proposed solutions
  • Identify new opportunities within the business
  • Continually assess available service offerings and suggest additional services where appropriate
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 3 Years of previous Key Accounts experience
  • MHE Industry experience will be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
