Purpose of the Job

Debriefing of all drivers as per the Standard Operating Procedures including full returns, part returns, content returns, delivery manifests, problem PODs and delivery queries.

Key Responsibilities 

• Debriefing of PODs as per company Standard Operating Procedures
• Debriefing of full or part returns
• Complete the debriefing report accurately
• Ensure all failed delivery invoices are endorsed by the customer
• Ensure that the correct parcels are scanned back and coded correctly
• Sort customer failed deliveries and Value failed deliveries correctly
• Debrief content refusals as per company Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensure driver’s delivery manifests are recorded on the debriefing report and rectification book
• Ensure Value waybills are completed for content returns
• Report all debriefing discrepancies
• Ensure that all debriefed returns are debriefed with the correct reason codes
• Report all claims and potential claims as per the debriefing report
• Monitor and give feedback at operations meetings on applicable status reports
• Send invoice requests daily
• Capture and update new route planning program daily
• Assist with helpdesk/tracking and monitor the telephone at all times
• Assist in relevant operations/operational functions as required
• Maintain professional conduct
• Ensure standards of Health and Safety are maintained
• Maintain housekeeping standards daily
• Follow the company dress code

Housekeeping

• Ensure general housekeeping is maintained in compliance with the company’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

Health and Safety

• Knowledge of basic health and safety procedures applicable to own job functions
• Ensure Toolbox Talks are communicated and actioned.

 Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Computer literate
• Ability to identify discrepancies
